The Winners

1st prize goes to Fife Milton and Jennifer Compeau for this amazing hamster ball picture of Waye Coyne from The Flaming Lips:

" Make Way!!"

2nd Prize goes to Carla Robinson for her creative captioning on what would have ordinarily been a dodgey picture:

Two Door Cinema Club are so good even Sam and Kevin bow when Alex picks up his guitar!

The Open House Festival is one of the most exciting events in Northern Ireland’s gig calendar – showcasing the best in folk and Celtic music across six days (6th – 12th September) in Belfast’s Cathedral Quarter.

MLNI are giving away tickets to see White Lies w/ The Panama Kings and Exlovers on the 7th September + a runner up prize to see The Lowly Knights launch their third EP on the 12th September.

The Competition

To be in with a chance of winning one of the prizes, submit any gig photo of your choice with a caption. The one that impresses us or makes us laugh the most will win. Here’s a few examples of our own to inspire you:

"You with him?"

Jet-propelled ginger hair

Mental Deficiency: Like a cross between the Saw films and bananas in pajamas

The three poses of rock 'n' roll

Please email your entry to: competition@musiclinkni.com

Our favourite entries will be showcased on the website. The best captioned photo, chosen by the editor, will win two tickets to see White Lies on the 7th September 2010 and the runners up will win two tickets for The Lowly Knights EP launch on the 12th September 2010. Good Luck!
